I, like 100 other artists in Chester County, am gearing up for the 2015 Chester County Studio Tour. It is somewhat stressful but, hey, I love a challenge!! I personally have challenged myself to do 10 new paintings for the show. I can do it. I know I can!!! So far I have completed five (two ocean scenes Isla Mujeras 1 and 2, and three hot pepper paintings Hot Stuff-Red, Hot Stuff-Green, and Hot Stuff-Orange). Three of these paintings can only be purchased during the CCStudio Tour on May 16-17. The Hot Stuff-Red is part of the County Collectors Club offering (go here to read more about this: http://www.chestercountystudiotour.com/2015_collector/collectors_2015.html) and is only $75. The other two Hot Stuff paintings are priced at $150 each. All of those are 6x6 framed.

I have two more paintings started and hope to post them in the coming week.

The show season has begun!!!

I will be in a plein air competition in April, CCStudio Tour in May, and more shows to be announced in the coming weeks.

With any luck the sun will come out, the air will warm and I'll be able to get some serious outdoor painting done.

Take care, all!
