Life in the Time of Coronavirus

As of right now most of my usual shows have been cancelled or rescheduled. This includes the Montgomery County Studio Tour (which I have done for 2 years), and even our pop up shows next to the Ludwigs Market Cafe. The Cafe is closed per orders of the Governor ordered shut down. Who could have predicted this? I can't say that I am a fan of going out in public but when you are forced to stay isolated, you realize how much you really need your family and friends. They are the glue that hold me together. I do miss them and phone calls/texting is just not the same. I am having problems heading down the studio and I guess that is the anxiety of it all. With the shows cancelled and everyone watching their pennies, there is little way to sell art.

But I will pick myself up, dust myself off and try to make the best of it. Who knows, maybe I will produce some really good art. Maybe I won't. But I will feel better trying. Focusing on something other than the news is the best thing I can do.

Stay healthy, stay sane, and try to enjoy those little pieces of life that are good.
