Well, I THOUGHT I had added a blog the other day but evidently not. Learning how to get all these things to work together is a little like wishing for peace in the Middle East. It'd be really nice if it happened now but that just isn't going to happen. Ah well. I think I posted an older image of some seagulls from Cape May. If you have never been there, you really should go. It is a unique and lovely place and inspiration for a quite a few of my sea paintings.
Now, let us post and see what happens...
Argh technology!

Even though I have been a graphic designer for over 30 years, it still takes me a bit to get the handle of things. I have just started this new website (and may I say that FASO has been awesome so far!) and created a Facebook page. Now trying to tie the two of them together is a bit of a challenge. I am just starting on this journey of making my fine art available for sale to the general public. In days past, us starving artists would scrabble to find a gallery to represent us, or find an agent, and/or do endless shows. Which leaves precious little time to actual refine our craft. I know there is a better way and my goal in the coming year is to find it. Oh, and to create some decent paintings, too.
This blog is dedicated to every struggling artist out there. I want to share my struggles/pain as I go down this path. We are not alone in this effort although it can feel that way in our lonely studios.
Carry on!
